Most of us are not where we are. The body is here. The mind is elsewhere.

Two feet on the ground. One breath.
That is how you return.
Because presence is not automatic. It is trained.

About me

I am Shoba Shekar. My work is focused on making mindfulness practical. Something people can actually use in the middle of a day, not just understand.

  • Certified Professional Mindfulness Teacher, IMTA
  • Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Brown University
  • Part of the Mind Fitness unit at the Indian Air Force since 2023, working on attention training, stress regulation, and recovery in high-demand environments.
  • Five years at HabitStrong leading daily morning sessions for corporate professionals

WHAT I DO

Practical, experience-led sessions focused on training attention, delivered across different settings, from students and corporate teams to high-demand environments where the ability to stay present, manage cognitive load, and recover from mental fatigue directly affects performance.

Most people already understand the theory. They know sleep matters. They know the breath helps. But understanding does not translate into change. The work therefore focuses on attention training, stress regulation, and recovery, not as concepts, but as practices that can be used in the moment.

An ounce of practice is worth a ton of theory.  Even the shortest practice helps. What matters is consistency, not perfection.
